It's been a wonderful holiday weekend so far. Last nite I knit on some soon to be felted baby slippers in 'galway' multicolored yarn. They knit up so fast so all they need its to be stitched up and thrown in the next few loads of wash.
Today was another knitting day on the back patio. My daughter had started a pair of socks and had gotten to the heel flaps. I took them off her hands last weekend on a visit with a promise to finish them up for her. I've turned the heels and done the gusset decreases on both and have about 5 inches knit on the first foot. They'll be finished in no time.
