A day of rest
After the mega crafting session yesterday I decided I would just work on a new sock design using the 'alpaca sox' yarn. I figured out a good design with cables down the side and various ribbing patterns. I cast on and knit about an inch and started to cable. Then I ripped it all out to start again. Change of plan. This yarn is very soft so the top of the sock needs a little stability first. That means a k1p1 rib for about an inch then a k2p2 rib with cables on each side of the foot about every 2 inches. I think this will work out well but again a test is needed. Also: note to self, put a cable needle in my knitting. It's hard to do without one. Even a little needle would have helpful.
