I finished the jay socks today in between shoveling and shoveling and shoveling. I love the "jay" yarn and they are soft and cosy with a lot of stretch and give using a k2p2 ribbing throughout. I started another sock using a worsted weight yarn from Reynolds this time. It's called Signature and is an acrylic/wool blend. The yarn is a soft dark blue varigated with no decernable pattern. It is knitting up quickly as you can see next to the helper cats tail. I've turned the heel and and on to the gusset. I have a recipient in mind that would like these.In the baking department I made many batches of caramel corn. Yum!
