Worked on my lioness today. As you can see she has her head and legs attached. If you look closely you can see her back legs are bendable. The pattern called for the bendy section of a straw but of course all I had were straight ones. I cut the straw into two sections and then connected with with a pipe clean the same size inserted into the straw. That way the back paw bends. Cool.
Another pile of body parts. At the top are two tiny mice. The white blog will become a dove. The red and black are going to be two lady bugs that reside on the knitted leaf. Too fun. In other news as I pulled into the driveway tonite at 9 pm I saw a huge racoon in the front yard investigating the trash cans out by the curb. As I pulled in it ran over to the tree in front of the house and made to run up it. As I got out of the car I could see it just above the ground holding on to the tree looking like a huge lump. I called out goodnite to it and I could see its eyes glowing in the dark. Wildlife abounds when you least expect it.
