Finished Shaun the Sheep today. He stands 5.5 inches tall and he's knitting a fairisle cardigan in a pretty pattern. He's got a long way to knit.
I used black cotten chenille stems in his legs and arms so he is posable. His handcrafted knitting needles are 2.75 inches long with glass beads on the ends. I wouldn't mind knitting with those.
This big sheep is Timmy's mom. She's waiting for her posable legs to be knitted and attached, some curlers for her hairdo and some eyes. She looks better in person but with out legs she keeps tipping over. She's waiting for her son Timmy to be assembled but as of yet he's still in pieces in a plastic bag.
This set designed by Alan Dart is just too cute for words. They are so much fun to knit and when they are finished it's like the creatures from the tv shows have come to life right in your hands. I'm having fun with this set.
No, I haven't finished with the zoo animals. I should be finished with the zebra tomorrow. He's only got three legs attached so he tips over also. He whispered that could he have his picture taken tomorrow when fully assembled.
