Turkey Day

I had been working a little bit on this Mill Hill bead pin kit for my mom. It went so fast and tonite it got done. It needs a backing, trimming and a pin back and it will be done. Mom's coming on Monday so that will get done this weekend.
A meeting this morning lead to me bringing my 'sock bag' with me and that was a great decision. I cast on at the start of the meeting and at the end I had the leg done and was working on the heel flap. During the break all of the other knitters came up to 'fondle' the alpaca yarn and tell me of their projects. They really liked my finger puppet needle holders and vowed to go to their respective childrens departments in a hunt for 'leftover puppets' to convert. A little tv watching tonite and the heel was turned and I'm on to the foot. The yarn is extremely soft and I'm enjoying just a K2P2 rib. I had tried other patterns with this yarn but they didn't show up so the usual it is. Work tomorrow then some more ornament or sock knitting tomorrow.
